Plain English, and short on purpose. Buying the game gives you a personal licence to play it on your own devices. You may record and stream it freely, including for money. You may not resell it or pull its parts out for use in something else. There is no data collection — see the Privacy Policy.
The Last Style Standing is owned by Carlos Miller, an individual ("we", "us"), and was made at Flow Academy. Contact: connect@flowacademyhq.com.
A personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to play the game on devices you own or control. Buying the game does not transfer ownership of it. The code, art, animation, music, characters, guide text and design remain ours.
The game is a one-time purchase. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no loot boxes, no virtual currency and no advertising. What you pay once is everything the game costs, and every fighter, arena and mode is unlocked through play rather than payment.
Refunds are handled entirely by the storefront you bought from, under that storefront's own policy, and not by us. We never receive your payment details and cannot process, approve or refuse a refund.
Your statutory rights are not affected by anything in these terms. If the law where you live gives you a right to a refund, a repair or a remedy, that right stands regardless of what this document or a storefront policy says.
If the game is faulty and the storefront will not help, write to us anyway. We would rather hear about it than not.
Stated plainly so a parent can decide without buying first.
The game is a martial-arts fighting game built by a martial-arts academy. It depicts realistic unarmed technique across ten arts: striking, throws, slams, pins, joint locks and chokes, performed by stylised 3D characters. It contains:
The guide text is educational and says out loud where a famous technique is real and where it is fiction. The techniques shown are real and are performed by trained practitioners in the sports they come from; they are not instruction, and nothing in this game should be attempted on another person outside a supervised class.
The rating itself is an owner decision and is not set in this document. The content basis is stated above so the rating questionnaire can be answered accurately and consistently, but choosing the final age rating — and accepting how realistic grappling is treated in an app that children at the academy will use — is the publisher's call, not an automated one.
The game runs locally on your device once installed and does not need us to be online for you to play it. We do not guarantee that any web-hosted version, page or URL will remain available indefinitely, and we may stop distributing new copies at any time. That does not affect a copy you have already bought and installed.
The game is provided "as is". We have tested it, and we make no promise that it is free of defects, compatible with every device or browser, or fit for any particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here overrides the statutory rights referred to in section 3.
The game includes open-source components, licensed assets and generated assets.
Every one is recorded, with its licence basis, in the notices file published with
the game: THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md. A record of how the game was made,
including which parts were AI-generated, is in AI-DISCLOSURE.md.
We may update these terms as the game changes. The version linked from the game and from its store listing is always the current one. A change never applies retroactively to a purchase you have already made.
These terms are governed by the law of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
